Welcome to PartyPad
What PartyPad runs for you, where everything lives in the dashboard, and the five things to set up in your first week.
PartyPad runs the part of your business that happens after the booking: who delivers what, when, in which truck, and whether it got done. You run it from this dashboard. Your crew runs their side from the PartyPad crew app on their phones.
How the pieces fit
- An order comes in. You add it under Events, a customer books on your own booking page, or your existing booking system sends it over automatically.
- The order becomes work. Each order needs delivery, setup and pickup tasks. On the Professional plan PartyPad creates them for you (how tasks are generated). On Free you add them on Tasks.
- The work goes to your crew. You hand tasks to drivers and crew on Dispatch or Tasks, and the task lands on their phone with the address and the equipment list.
- You see it happen. The dashboard map shows crews moving, and each task reports back as it's started and completed.
Where things live
The left-hand menu is the whole business:
- Dashboard: today at a glance, including the live crew map.
- Tasks and Dispatch: every delivery, setup and pickup, and the route board you build each day from.
- Events: your orders.
- Customers and Inventory: who you rent to, and what you rent.
- Contractors and Team: your field crew, and the people in the office.
- Push Notifications: send a message straight to your crew's phones.
- Automation and Reports (Professional plan): task templates and your numbers.
- Billing, Booking Page and Settings: your plan, your online booking page, and everything about how your account is set up.
Some menu items only appear if your role allows them. If you can't see something a teammate can, ask the account owner to check your role under Team.
Your first week
When you first sign in, a setup wizard walks you through business info, vehicles, inventory and payment. Skip anything you're not ready for. A checklist stays on your dashboard until it's done:
- Add a delivery vehicle. The trucks and trailers your crew drives.
- Add your rentals. The inflatables and equipment you rent out.
- Create your first event. Book a party and see it on your timeline. Your first order, start to finish walks the whole path.
- Invite a contractor. Get one crew member on the crew app.
- Bring your orders in. Turn on your booking page, or connect the booking system you already use.
