Inventory
Add your inflatables and equipment, set their daily rates and status, upload photos, import a list, and choose which rentals show on your booking page.
Inventory is the list of everything you rent out: bounce houses, slides, combos, tents, tables, generators and the rest. Your orders pick rentals from this list, and your online booking page shows the ones you publish.
What's on the page
The cards at the top count Total Items, Available, Reserved, Maintenance and Revenue. Below them, Inventory Items shows each item with its photo, type, daily rate and booking-page badge.
Narrow the list with the search box and three filters: type, status, and Booking page (All items, On booking page, Not on booking page).
Add an item
- Select Add Item.
- Under Basic Information, enter the Name and pick a Type: Bounce House, Slide, Combo, Obstacle Course, Game, Tent, Table, Chair, Generator, Blower or Other. Enter a Category (for example Small, Medium, Large, or a group name like "Water Slides") and an optional Description.
- Under Specifications, enter Capacity (children and adults), Weight, and Setup Time (minutes), between 5 and 480. Dimensions and Age Range are optional.
- Under Pricing & Status, enter the Daily Rate and pick a Status.
- Turn on Show on booking page if customers should be able to book it online.
- Select Create Item.
Photos are added after the item exists. Open the item with the edit button and use the Photos section to upload up to five images at a time, 10 MB each. Mark one as the primary photo; that's the one the list and your booking page show first.
Statuses
- Active: in service and rentable.
- Inactive: kept on file but not in use.
- Maintenance: out for repair.
- Retired and Sold: no longer in your fleet.
Only Active items can appear on your booking page.
Show an item on your booking page
Show on booking page puts the item in your public catalog. Three more things must be true before a customer sees it:
- the item has a daily rate above $0,
- its status is Active,
- it isn't marked unavailable.
When a published item fails one of these, its badge reads Published, but hidden, and the form tells you which rule it breaks. An item that passes reads On booking page.
Items with the type Game are offered in a separate add-ons step after the main rentals, grouped under their Category.
Setting up the booking page itself is covered in Set up your booking page.
Import a list
Select Import Items to load many items at once from a CSV or JSON file, up to 10 MB.
For CSV, select Download CSV template, fill in one row per item in Excel or Google Sheets, and save it as CSV. The columns are name, type, category, description, dailyPrice, quantity, length, width, height, weight, setupTime, capacityChildren, capacityAdults, ageMin, ageMax and isPublic. Column order doesn't matter, and unknown columns are ignored.
PartyPad checks every row first and shows the valid count and any errors by row number. Select Import (the button shows how many items) to save the valid rows.
An item added by hand starts with a quantity of one. Use the quantity column in an import when you own several identical units. The booking page uses that count to decide how many can go out on the same day.
Edit or delete an item
Use the edit button on an item's card to change any field or manage photos. The delete button removes the item after you confirm. This can't be undone, so for a unit you've stopped renting, consider setting its status to Retired or Sold instead.
