Moving Your Inventory from Inflatable Office to PartyPad

Your inventory list is the one thing every other screen depends on. Get it in right and the booking page, the quantities and the crew's load list all follow. Get it in wrong and every order after it is wrong in the same way.

Getting the list out of Inflatable Office

Inflatable Office's own pages describe these ways to get data out:

  • An API can retrieve inventory, customer and event data, and connects to Zapier.
  • Custom reports can be built and pulled for sales and rental items.

Ask Inflatable Office support which of them your plan includes before you start.

Shaping it for PartyPad

  • Import Items takes a CSV or JSON file up to 10 MB. Download the CSV template, fill one row per item, and save it as CSV.
  • The columns are name, type, category, description, dailyPrice, quantity, the dimensions, setupTime, capacity, age range and isPublic. Column order does not matter and unknown columns are ignored.
  • Every row is checked first. You see the valid count and the errors by row number before anything is saved.

Set quantity for units you own more than one of. The booking page uses it to decide how many can go out the same day.

What does not carry over

  • No packages or kits, no consumables, and no item rented in parts.

If you use these in Inflatable Office today, plan how you will handle them before you move:

  • Rental packages and kits that follow the availability of their individual items.
  • Items in two categories, one item listed two ways at different rates (such as wet or dry), parts rented separately, and mod panels tracked as their own units.
  • Consumables sold alongside rentals, and a friend's inventory listed through the Vendor add-on.
  • Pricing by day, time of rental, season or area of use.

Step by step: Inventory.
